Please note, the UCAS results embargo will run between 6pm on Monday 01 August 2022, ending on A ‘Level results day at 8am on Thursday 18 August 2022. During this time we will not be sending any communications from the accommodation booking system until after the UCAS embargo period ends.
Applicants who meet the Accommodation Guarantee
You can still login and use the Accommodation Portal to search, choose and reserve your room for September. If there are no rooms showing at the time you login then we advise that you return on 8am, Thursday 18 August when there will be rooms available due to cancellations.

September 2022 Portal
Booking BU accommodation is a two stage process
Stage 1 - Registering for your Guarantee:
Now open for all students who have chosen Bournemouth University as their Firm first choice. You will receive an email with instructions once you are on the Accommodation system.
Stage 2 - Choosing and booking your room
Applicants with unconditional firm (UF) status:
If you already hold an unconditional offer (UF) of study at BU, you will be able to continue straight through to Stage 2 where you will choose and, as we are now in the embargo period, reserve your room. We will be in touch about payment and contracts on the 18 August.
Applicants with conditional firm (CF) status:
At the end of Stage 1 you will go straight through into Stage 2 where you can choose and reserve your room. Your room will then be held for you until your receive your results and become UF. We will be in touch about payment and contracts once you gain your results.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (2018), Bournemouth University (BU) has a legal duty to protect any information we collect from you. We will process the information contained in this booking in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
We will use your information to administer your room booking and, if you have chosen to book a room in externally-owned/managed accommodation, we will also share with the third party accommodation provider your: name, date of birth, home address, email, telephone number and, where deemed relevant for your accommodation booking, any details about disclosed disabilities, medical conditions and unspent criminal convictions.
